07 - 8 fresh mint leaves
08 - 4 thin orange slices

# Method:
01 - Dissolve cane sugar thoroughly into filtered water in a clean glass jar. Introduce water kefir grains or ginger bug and integrate fresh lemon juice. Stir gently using a non-metallic spoon.
02 - Cover the jar with a breathable cloth or coffee filter secured by a rubber band. Allow to ferment at room temperature (68–77°F) for 24 to 48 hours until the mixture becomes lightly effervescent and tangy.
03 - Eliminate kefir grains or ginger bug using a fine mesh strainer, reserving for future batches or discarding as appropriate.
04 - Combine the fermented soda base with orange juice, lime juice, and mint leaves in a pitcher. Mix gently to preserve effervescence.
05 - Distribute ice cubes into glasses. Pour flavored soda mixture over ice, garnish each glass with a thin orange slice and mint sprig if desired. Serve promptly for optimal fizz.
