I made these gingerbread pretzel clusters to share at our family's annual cookie swap, and everyone asked for the recipe. They disappear quickly at parties!

Ingredients

  • Mini pretzel twists: 3 cups, broken into pieces
  • Pecan halves: 1 cup (optional)
  • Ground ginger: 1 1/2 teaspoons
  • Ground cinnamon: 1 teaspoon
  • Ground cloves: 1/4 teaspoon
  • Ground nutmeg: 1/4 teaspoon
  • Salt: Pinch
  • White chocolate chips or melting wafers: 12 oz (340 g)
  • Unsalted butter: 2 tablespoons
  • Festive sprinkles: 2 tablespoons (optional)
  • Crushed gingersnap cookies: 1/4 cup (optional)

Instructions

Prepare baking sheets:
Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
Mix pretzels and pecans:
In a large mixing bowl, combine broken pretzels and pecans.
Add spices:
In a small bowl, mix ginger, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, and salt. Sprinkle mixture over the pretzels and toss to coat.
Melt chocolate:
