01 - 8 slices white sandwich bread, crusts removed
→ Cheese
02 - 8 slices cheddar cheese or preferred melting cheese

03 - 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened

04 - 1/2 cup marinara sauce or tomato soup, warmed
# Method:
01 - Using a rolling pin, flatten each bread slice until it is thin and pliable.
02 - Place one slice of cheddar or preferred cheese onto each flattened bread slice.
03 - Tightly roll up each bread slice around the cheese, pressing the edges to seal.
04 - Lightly brush the exterior of each rollup with softened unsalted butter.
05 - Preheat a large nonstick skillet over medium heat.
06 - Place rollups seam side down in the skillet and cook 2 to 3 minutes per side until all sides are golden brown and cheese is melted.
07 - Remove rollups from skillet and let them cool slightly before serving.
08 - Serve warm with optional marinara sauce or tomato soup for dipping.
