# What You'll Need:
→ Base layer
01 - 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
02 - 2 cups granulated sugar
03 - 4 large eggs
04 - 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
05 - 1 cup all-purpose flour
06 - 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
07 - 0.5 teaspoon fine sea salt
→ Add-ins and toppings
08 - 1 cup mini salted pretzels, roughly broken
09 - 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
10 - 1 cup caramel sauce
11 - 0.5 teaspoon flaky salt
# Method:
01 - Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a 9x13 inch baking pan with parchment paper and lightly grease the sides.
02 - In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter, granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth and well-blended.
03 - Sift in flour, cocoa powder, and fine sea salt. Stir until the mixture is just combined, taking care not to overmix.
04 - Gently fold in the chocolate chips and half of the broken pretzels until evenly distributed.
05 - Transfer the batter into the prepared pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.
06 - Drizzle caramel sauce over the batter. Sprinkle the remaining pretzels and flaky salt on top.
07 - Place the pan in the oven and bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. Allow to cool thoroughly before slicing.
