Ingredients
- Dinosaur Bones Breadsticks: 250 g pizza dough (store-bought or homemade), 2 tbsp olive oil, 1 tsp coarse sea salt, 1 tsp dried oregano (optional)
- Prehistoric Crudités: 1 large carrot peeled and cut into sticks, 1 cucumber cut into spears, 1 red bell pepper sliced into strips, 1 yellow bell pepper sliced into strips, 1 cup broccoli florets, 1 cup cherry tomatoes
- Dip: 200 g Greek yogurt, 1 tbsp lemon juice, 1 tbsp chopped fresh chives, salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Step 1:
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Step 2:
- Divide pizza dough into 12 portions. Roll each portion into a 12 cm (5-inch) rope. Tie a loose knot at each end to resemble a bone.
- Step 3:
- Arrange breadsticks on the prepared baking sheet. Brush with olive oil and sprinkle with sea salt and oregano.
- Step 4:
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until golden and cooked through. Let cool slightly.
- Step 5:
- Arrange carrot cucumber bell peppers broccoli and cherry tomatoes on a large platter.
- Step 6:
- In a small bowl mix Greek yogurt lemon juice chives salt and pepper to make the dip.
- Step 7:
- Place the breadstick bones among the vegetables. Serve with the dip on the side.
