# What You'll Need:
→ Bread & Garlic Butter
01 - 4 slices thick-cut bread (sourdough, Italian, or sandwich bread)
02 - 45 grams unsalted butter, softened
03 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
04 - 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)
05 - Pinch of salt
→ Sauce & Cheese
06 - 120 ml marinara sauce
07 - 100 grams shredded mozzarella cheese
08 - 25 grams grated Parmesan cheese
→ Toppings (choose as desired)
09 - 12-16 slices pepperoni or vegetarian alternative
10 - 40 grams sliced black olives
11 - 40 grams diced bell pepper
12 - 40 grams sliced mushrooms
13 - 1/2 tsp dried oregano or Italian seasoning
14 - Crushed red pepper flakes, to taste
# Method:
01 - Preheat the air fryer to 190°C (370°F) for 2 minutes.
02 - Combine softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, and salt in a small bowl, mixing thoroughly.
03 - Spread the garlic butter evenly on one side of each bread slice.
04 - Place the bread slices, buttered side facing up, in a single layer within the air fryer basket. Cook in batches if necessary.
05 - Spoon approximately 30 ml (2 tablespoons) of marinara sauce onto each bread slice, then evenly distribute shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan over the sauce.
06 - Top with desired toppings, then sprinkle dried oregano or Italian seasoning evenly over each slice.
07 - Cook at 190°C (370°F) for 6 to 8 minutes until cheese is melted, bubbly, and golden, and bread is crisp.
08 - Remove carefully from the air fryer, allow to cool briefly, then serve warm. Garnish with fresh parsley or crushed red pepper flakes if desired.
